About Me
My name is Scott Dial, if you haven’t already figured that one out, genius. I hail from Indiana. I’m a graduate student and musician, but neither has anything to do with the other. I still persist in my meager existance..
I got my bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rose-Hulman in ‘06, received a master’s degree in computer science from Indiana University in ‘08, and am continuing on to try to get a PhD from Indiana University’s Computer Science Department. Because Dr. Dial sounds really cool, and is sure to impress to the ladies.
I play a variety of instruments. Mostly I play guitar and force people to listen to me sing. Once upon a time I played drums and was good at that, but you can’t really play snare drum in front of a crowd and win the hearts of millions, ya’ know.
And for those of you that are like, “I just am trying to figure out if you are that dude that always fell asleep in my classes:” yes, that was me. Feel free to shoot me an email and remind me of how much of a dork you remember me as.
